We are working with the University of Cincinatti’s Justice, Law, and Information Technology Institute to:

  • Examine the perspectives of Ohio criminal defense lawyers on how data and related technologies can help improve the transparency and fairness of the state’s legal system
    • The project includes examination of current perspectives of defenders on research, as well as how defenders and systems are using data to inform decision making, their access to data, and areas for technical innovation
  • Identify up to 3 responsive technologies that could be developed from the findings of the research
